The cooperation between the NMA and the NR in this project will promote new perspectives for cooperation between two public entities in Romania and Norway. In addition, the project will bring together NMA and NR experts and other invited experts (experts in hydrology, water management, hydropower) with several Romanian experts involved in the field of water resource management. This will allow the exchange of knowledge and expertise, raising awareness on climate change issues, resulting in ideas that could help mitigate climate change variability of environmental and climate variables that affect the accuracy of water resource estimates for production of hydropower and also identifying possible directions for future collaboration.
